i love the way any services centered firms talk about talent, talent planning, talent retention, talent skill, talent torture techniques (oops that's not something everyone knows). they make it seem that they are so dependent on this 'talent'. but then why do they treat the talent like shit? so talent retention seems to be a strategy (snickering rite now).

oh more interesting than what they are saying in the meeting are what people are doing around me
- there are couple of people staring into the computer screen pretending to work (psst we can all see your facebook page open)
- there are people who are looking at the overhead projection with such concentration that i'm shocked that the screen hasn't caught fire yet.
- someone's playing farmville on facebook. (that bored?)
damn.. 3 days after i started this blog post i'm sitting and attending a goal setting training...my goal is to leave in 45 days, well i guess i will meet expectations this time around :-)
